How does the EXperiment work? I wrote a few songs, and I took two of my favorites and hired several artists to sing those songs, but get this … I simply handed them the lyrics. I didn’t give them any instructions outside of, “Please turn these lyrics into a song.” When the artist would ask me how I wanted the melody to sound or anything related to the song itself, I would inform the artist that I wanted him or her to simply be their creative selves with no direction from me. Same lyrics, different song! But this is a part of a larger project that I am working on. If you’d love to take a stab at turning the lyrics into a song, simply click the button below. Please note that there is a $4.99 download fee for each song; this is to prevent spam, abuse of the forms and not-so-serious people from filling out the form just to download the lyrics.
